Words for Imagining
Science fiction and fantasy help bring sparks to the imagination of budding writers. Through studying the works of C. S. Lewis, Orson Card, George MacDonald amongst others, the students will delve into the creative minds of authors with a penchant for the extraordinary.
Each curriculum consists of 36 week lessons, Writing Resource folder and a Vocabulary folder. This course also includes a journaling section or didactic journal to help flesh out key writing elements used by these great authors.
They will be introduced to MLA formatting and required to use it for the majority of their compositions. A research paper is also included at the end of this course. You will organize their folder with the Lesson section first, then vocabulary, then Resource....
