A love for writing...
Every child has a unique point of view and perspective of the world around them. Being able to communicate in a way that reflects their personality and effectively shares their ideas will impact their world. My hope is their abilities with the written word coupled with seeking His plan may help them effectively communicate the Gospel of Christ. This site was created to help the educator/parent encourage their writers in finding their voice through studying the words of others.
Since 2012, I have led English Literature and Composition classes at co-operatives in my community in Alabama and online from our new home in Texas. Each year, I enjoyed creating a new course to challenge the students. Pulling from ideas/resources from other educators/websites and realizing what works well in the class (homeschoolers) setting, I have created a new curriculum for my classes each year. Four years of curricula for grades 8-12 are available for any to use. The Junior course is suited for 8-10th graders and the Senior course is designed for 10-12th graders. These lessons are best used in a group setting, printed out and put in a binder - using dividers to separate each section. I will publish this year's course as we go through each week.
Each curriculum is free to use. If you have any questions you can easily reach me via email: Tara.Hall@wordlyways.com
